An Operating System is the software which communicates with the hardware of a PC and functions as the intermediary between all the applications and the hardware, including peripheral devices such as a printer, a mouse or a keyboard. A virtual machine can be set up on a physical one, so you'll be able to install a guest OS on it and have a different system environment in contrast to the physical server host OS.

These are among the safest and the most reliable OSs available and we supply all three instead of only 1 because we realize that you may want to set up some software with specific requirements for the Operating System it'll run on. The latter is due to the fact that each of the three Operating Systems has a vast support community behind it and there are various software packages you may install on the hosting server. Your OS choice will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS in case you would like to use one and for that reason we offer multiple Control Panels as well. In the event you decide that you need a different OS, our tech support team can quickly wipe the present one and set up the one that you want. In addition, we offer an optional service to have the OS on your VPS updated weekly.

Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting

If you decide to get one of our dedicated servers, you shall find three Operating Systems on the order page since we want to give you a larger choice regarding the system environment on your machine as different apps may have certain requirements. CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian come with different modules developed by their huge support communities, so you can select any of these OSs and enjoy a reliable and risk-free Internet hosting service. Based on your decision, you will also have different Control Panels to choose from. Needless to say, we can always replace the Operating System if the one you have selected at first doesn't meet the requirements of the software which you want to run.
